Two Love Songs for soprano and piano (1953)
There is very little information about the piece. We do know that it was written to folk lyrics:
The first and probably only performer of the work was Jadwiga Dzikówna, who premiered the first song with Tadeusz Baird in September 1953. Owing to a lack of access to the score, we can only surmise that given the folk nature of the lyrics, the music must have been neo-classical and dominated by folklore-inspired elements.
